Parenthood
The prospect of raising a child can feel overwhelming, even if it is part of a plan. How will I afford this? Will I be a good parent? What if I don't have a partner? You are not alone. These are common questions for any pregnant woman or couple. There are many resources out there to help put your mind at ease and prepare you for the greatest job you will ever have: parenthood.
Adoption
Choosing adoption for an unplanned pregnancy can be a compassionate and empowering decision. It provides the child with a loving, stable home while offering the birth parents peace of mind, knowing their child will be cared for and supported. Adoption allows for various levels of involvement, from open to closed arrangements, enabling birth parents to stay connected if they wish.
Safe Haven
Safe Haven providers offer a secure and anonymous way for parents to relinquish their newborns if they are unable to care for them. These providers, such as hospitals, fire stations, and police stations, ensure the baby is placed in a safe environment without fear of legal consequences. Safe Haven laws aim to prevent abandonment and provide a safe alternative for care.

Doctor-assisted suicide is illegal in the vast majority of states. Only Oregon, Vermont, Washington, California, Hawaii, Colorado, New Jersey, New Mexico, Washington DC, and Maine have legalized Doctor Assisted Suicide.
According to the Maine Center for Disease Control, 53 people died, in 2023, by "patient choice" with the Death with Dignity Act.
What is Euthanasia?
The direct killing of a person by injecting a lethal substance. Euthanasia is illegal in all 50 states. In the Netherlands, euthanasia is legal, with or without the consent of the patient. Assisted suicide is also legal in the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Canada, and Belgium. Although Assisted Suicide is prohibited in Switzerland, it is widely practiced, and people come to Switzerland from all over the world for assistance with suicide. Chronically ill children of any age can now be euthanized in Belgium. The Netherlands has adopted guidelines allowing parents to consent to the direct killing of newborn infants with disabilities.
