Maine Right to Life (MRTL) is a state affiliate of the National Right to Life Committee. We are the oldest statewide non-profit 501(C)3 corporation registered to do pro-life advocacy. We are Pro-Life, Pro-Active, and Pro-Women.

the why.

MRTL was founded to protect the dignity and worth of each human being. We seek to uphold the inviolable sanctity of human life from conception to natural death by making abortion, infanticide, doctor-assisted suicide, and euthanasia socially, ethically, and legally unacceptable and actively promote positive alternatives.

the how.

We seek to inform, educate, and motivate people from all walks of life to defend life from womb to tomb. Our vision is that abortion will become unthinkable.

MRTL High School Oratory Contest!

Location: Saint Joseph’s College of Maine
Who: High School Juniors & Seniors
Start Time: 10:00 a.m.
Arrival & Registration: 9:00 a.m.

Like the National Right to Life Oratory Contest, the Maine Right to Life Oratory Competition encourages young people to thoughtfully and confidently articulate their pro-life convictions.

These contests help shape the next generation of leaders—students who will influence others in classrooms, communities, online spaces, and eventually through their vocations and civic leadership.

The voices of these students offer a fresh, compelling, and passionate lens through which to see the ongoing struggle for life. Winning this event would be wonderful, but just participating is a valued educational experience with many rewards in itself.
