Heather Sirocki
Secretary
Bio
Heather Sirocki is a married mother of three wonderful adult sons and has been a resident of Maine since she was ten years old. As a community member, she organized a co-op nursery school, served as superintendent of religious education at her church, was treasurer of the Casco Bay Sea Scouts (a co-ed division of Boy Scouts) and held various positions with various booster groups, where she did everything from secretary of the Scarborough School band programs (middle school, high school, and jazz band) to the chair of The Gym Dandies Children’s Circus (Grades 3-12).
Her working career spanned almost forty years in the field of dentistry as a dental assistant, an administrative assistant, and as a registered dental hygienist (AS, Westbrook College, Portland, Maine).
After raising her family, Heather switched gears and was honored to
serve as a legislator in the Maine House of Representative (2010-2018). After completing four successive terms as a state rep and terming-out, she became the primary caregiver for her dear mother’s final years. Her mother, Erika, was a World War II “love child” who especially loved babies and viewed life as a gift from God.
Inspired by her grandmother, who volunteered at an orphanage for 50 years, she is now pleased to serve as secretary of the Maine Right to Life Committee (2021 to present), where valuing life is the focus, from the beginning to the end, from womb to tomb, from conception until natural death.
